The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated December 9, 1927, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date as follows: — i New Zealand Wethers and Maidens.—Canterbury quality, selected brands, 561 b and under, 63d, 571 b to 641 b fid, 651 bto 721 b 63 d; other brands, 561 b and under 6d, 571 b to 641 b sgd, 651 b to 721 b s|d. New Zealand ewes, 641 b and under 4id. New Zealand Lambs.—Canterbury quality, 361 b and under 9id, 371 b to 421 b 91 d; other brands, first quality, 361 b and under 82d, 371 b to 421 b 83d; second quality, 301 b to 321 b average, 81d. Australian Lambs—Victorian, first quality, 361 b and under 9d, 371 bto 421 b 9d. Argentine Lambs.—, First quality, 361 b and under 73d, 371 b to 421 b 7d. New Zealand.
