CONVICTIONS AT MORRINSVILLE. At the Morrinsville Magistrate’s Court this morning a series of charges under the Licensing Act were being heard. These were the result of a visit paid to the premises of the Nottingham Castel Hotel at about 10.30 pan. on Saturday, sth February. Up to the time of going to press, John Hart, Benjamin O’Brien, Edward Miller, Edward Carroll and Emmett O’Brien had been convicted and fined amounts ranging from 10s to 20s. ( :■ f Charges were also to be heard against the licensee and his wife and a servant at the hotel, Michael Meaney.
