“PARAGON” SEEDS.
GEO. E. CLARK AND SONS’ PRODUCTIONS. Immediately opposite .the main entrance in the Waikato Winter Show this year will be found the exhibit of that old-established and reliable firm of Geo. E. Clark and Sons, the purveyors of the celebrated “ Para- • gon” Seeds and Fertilisers. The “ Paragon ” products are recognised as always having given the maximum results on Waikato se;l and it is because of this , that the firm’s businesses at Hamilton and Cambridge are expanding. Besides seeds and fertilisers, “ Paragon ” products include fowl mixtures and cattle and pig foods. The firm are also , agents for motor and engine oils of A 1 grade only. The results of the sowing of Geo. E. Clark and Sons’ “Paragon” seeds made up a fine display on the exhibition stand, the swedes particularly being of a very fine quality and type. Mangolds and carrots ai’e also typical of “ Paragon ” seeds. In 1880 Messrs. Geo. Clark, senior, and Jos. Gane commenced business as seedsmen, and in 1910 operations were extended to include Hamilton, a branch being opened in Ward street under the management of Messrs. Harry and A. R. Clark. It is pleasing to state that the principals, with the exception of Mr. Jos. Gane, who has been succeeded by his son, Mr. Alf Gane. are still operating at the respective branches. Old and prospective customers will be given a hearty welcome at Geo. Clark and Sons’ stand—a welcome which should be accepted by all because there is much to interest.*
