Those who are interested in the above-mentioned subjects—and this should include everyone—cannot fail to be charmed with the beautiful exhibit of Waikato’s premier nurserymen, Messrs. J. Bateson and Son, at .this year’s Waikato Winter Show. The exhibit occupies its usual position just inside on the right of the main entrance., Its 'beauty cannot be missed-, however. J.. Bateson and Son are known throughout these districts for reliability in plants, shrubs, hedge and shelter trees, seeds, etc. ; also for their prompt service and delivery of wedding bouquets and floral emblems. All .the floral work is under the guidance of an artist who has had very exceptional experience, and the firm’s connection extends all over the North Island. The exhibit includes an artistic display of cyclamen, begonias, ferns, palms, shrubs, fruit, hedge and shelter trees, etc., in endless variety. All who are interested in afforestation and horticulture generally should not fail to visit J. Bateson and Son’s great display. The firm will be pleased to meet old and prospective clients and give advice regarding soils and suitability of climate and in general impart knowledge .to those wishing it.*
