To possess a beautiful face is the wish of most women. Yet how many there are who owe their beauty to expression. The plain child with a lovely heal , behind her so-called . plainness is often a greater success .ban he beautiful sister. , rc As the years pass a lovel} e..pres Sion is a far greater asset than physical beauty. 1 The woman who combines tho two js indeed blessed. By expression the most perfect face can be turned into ugliness. This is not, however, usually the beauty’s pitfall. Much the more common fault is the lack of any expression at all. Unless taught in youth not to rely absolutely on her perfect features, the beautiful girl is apt to trust too much to these personal attractions. After all, beauty commands most things, and rightly so—but when It has begun to wane there arises the need of something deeper—personality, shall we say, in lieu of a better word. The plain beauty has this already. It early became clear to her that it she would have any sort of a time in life this abiding charm must be cultivated.
