The Hon. A. D. McLeorf, Minister for Lands, who it was expected would visit the Putaruru district on or about December 4, is at present on a thi'ee - weeks' tour of the South Island, and in reply to an inquiry by Mr. F. F. Hockly, M.P. for Rotorua, telegraphed that he hoped to pay his promised visit to the Upper Waikato early in the New year.—Putaruru Record.
