COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS.
The following have been nominated f’-i’ the respective riding seats on the I itamata County Council:— Matamata.—-Messrs. J. Pohlen and J’. Gibson. Te Poi.—Messrs. C. A. Stopford and A Davies. Bularuru. —Messrs. 0. Snell and E. J: Darby. Tokoroa.—Mr. Cox. Tirau.—Mr.' J. W. Anderson. Okoroire.—Mr. W. If. Allen. Maungutautiri.—Mr. S. H. Judd. Karapiro.—Mr. J. P. Kccley. Reria.—Mr. T-f. Rollett. There* will be contests in the Matamata, Te Poi and Putaruru ridings. Mr. It. A. Bent and Mr. E. C. Banks arc not seeking re-election. HOSPITAL BOARD. Mr. J. Price is the only nomination for the Matamata town and county seat on the Waikato Hospital Board. THAMES VALLEY POWER BOARD The following nominations have been received for two seats:—Messrs. J. W. Anderson, J. Pohlen and E. J. Darby.
