FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. Tho fortnightly mooting of tho Matamata Town Board was hold this week, Mr J, Price (chairman) presiding. Messrs E. Lark, T. E. Jhivies i and A. Stewart wore also proscut, Messrs Gordon and 801 l wore granted lenve of absence. TIPIS LINE Sir William Ilerries, MP, in ( j acknowledging the board’s loiter and the chairman’s telegram on the subject, stntod that ho had obtained pormissiou for the board to cut a pipe line, not more than 12 foot in width, through tlm Government forest rosorvo at Olcauia. | THE PICTURE PLANT A retiiol pioluro palace proprietor ’ wrote offering to purchase' tho Town l Ilnll plant.—Members decided that ! it was not for sale. j TE WAIKATO SANATORIUM i It was decided to support tho Pialco !
