SCHOOL BREAK-UP
The children’s annual fancy dress dance was held on December 19 -when the Atheneum hall was filled to capacity. Forty-fivC couples took part in the grand march which was led by Ellis Adams and Margaret Paterson. Between dances there were three items given by the children which were very much appreciated by everyone. The chairman, Mr Elliot, congratulated the teachers on their work. Mrs W. J. Shaw again supplied the music for the children’s dance and Mrs L. Murphy for tho adult dance. The following is a list of the children’s fancy dresses;—
