Air Roosevelt said that China likewise expressed the- magnificent will of millions of plain people to resist the dismemberment of their nation. China, through Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, had asked for help. “America has said that China shall have our help ” he said. “Our country is going to be what our people have proclaimed it must be —tin* arsenal of democracy.
