ARROW RIFLE CLUB.

The Arrow Defence Rifle Club opened the season on Saturday when there was a good attendance of members. An apology was received from the Mossburn Club, which regretted being unable to be represented. The president (Mr W. H. James) extended a welcome to members, and expressed the hope that the season would be a successful and enjoyable one. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies The following are the principal scores (five shots at 300, 500 and 600 yds):—
