Dolores Del Rio, as the heroine, meets George Sander® on board ship bound for Shanghai. The passengers are warned of the dangers of landing ;i.t that port and are advised to.return to America without disembarking. Sanders being engaged to try to stop gun-running must land, and as Dolores and lie are madly in love with each other she decide® to land also.
