"ONE LAST FLING"

After 0110 of America’s most notorious murderesses. Airs \ oJma West, who has escaped from Marysville Prison, Ohio, has had “ one last liing.” she will give herself up, states the ‘ News of the World,' London. This promise is made in an amazing three-page letter, which Airs West left for Airs Alargaret Reilly, the governess of the prison. “I will always hate myself for doing this,” the letter reads, “ but I am torn between my Jove for you and my desire For one more adventure before 1 die. “ I will return to prison if my escape causes trouble. Aleauwhile, I am after one more fling.” Immediately the escape was discovered hundreds of m ined police searched for Airs West, and arrangements were made for Airs Reilly to broadcast an appeal for ho return. The governess has always appeared to have a remarkable influence over her prisoner; but the police fear that, now they are separated, Airs West may stop at nothing to gain money for the gay time she loves.

In 19:17, when Mrs West was 21, she killed her husband with a hammer and then went to a party, at which she danced and sang through the night. When she escaped from prison she was accompanied by three other women prisoners. It is not yet known how they managed to leave unseen.
