BAND QUEEN CARNIVAL

CITIZENS’ PRINCESS. The community sin" held in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, drew a good attendance. The song leader, Mr C. M. Inglis, kept the crowd amused and good singing was enjoyed. The pianist was- Miss A. McSoriley, while a piano-accordeou item was given by Mr W. Harvey who also played an extra for the dancing which followed supper.

The euchre and dance held in the Royal Cafe on Thursday evening was well attended and an enjoyable time was spent bygill. Prize-winners were as follows-:-—Ladies, Miss J. Batts 1, Mrs S. Bone 2- men’s, Mr W. Harvey 1, Mr A. Laudrebe 2.

A successful Cinderella Dance p&s held in the Garrison Hall on Saturday « evening in aid of the Citizens' Princess . There was a good attendance.
