HARD-TIMES DANCE.
A Hard-Times Dance was held in the Lower Shotover Hall on Thuraday evening under the auspices of the Hall Committee. There was a good attendance of district people. Prizes for the most “hard-up" costumes were won by Mrs A. Jansen (bride) and Mr J. S. Gray (fanner). The music was supplied by the Misses E. and D. Jackways of Arrowtown, and Mr J. Jolly played an extra. The duties of M.O. were carried out by Mr Jas. McLean. A novelty hard times supper was served at a suitable interval. During the evening Mr
