MEN’S SECTION. On Saturday, under ideal weather conditions, a very enjoyable blag Match was played. Mr Cocked 11 being the winner, taking the flag well up the nineteenth fairway. Mr Nelson, who finished on the last green, was second. Several other players started .well but failed on the last few holes. The following is the draw for a Medal Match to be played next Saturday.:— Pan-ant v McKay. Cockenll v Griffin, Dr. Anderson v Wright. Hall v Homans, Cooke v Tomkies, Wilkinson v Nelson. Alteration to handicap, Cockerill. LADIES’ SECTION. Last Saturday a stroke competition was played, the best cards being handed in by Mrs T. B. McKinlay 92—22—70. Mrs Wilkinson 94 72, and Mrs Colquhoun 97—178—0. Mrs McKinlay’s handicap has been reduced to 20, and Mrs M ilkinsons to 21. Next Saturday the first round for the Major Browne cup will be played, the draw being as follows Mrs Colquhoun v Mrs M ilkinson, Mrs McKinlay v Miss McLachlan, Miss J. Thomson v Mrs Boyds. Miss Fraser v Miss .N. Curtis, Miss E. Curtis v Mrs Cooke, Mrs Gunn v Mrs Hall. Mrs Haggitt v Mrs Lee.
