At- the Sydney wool sales yesterday there was good competition and prices showed u hardening tendency. The average price realised at the wool sales last week was £lO 5s 3d per bale or 3.06-d per pound.

WIZARD SMITH,

Wizard Smith’s last trial run with his car on speed was 125 miles an hour. He said he was well satisfied with the performance. SEQUEL TO FOOD RIOTS IN DUNEDIN.

There were various groups of unemployed about the Dunedin streets yesterday, but no disturbance. As a sequel to Saturday’s rioting seven men appeared in the local court yesterday on charges of encouraging disorder and behaving in a disorderly manner. They were remanded on conditional bail.
