Mr W. Ey ton came home from Dunedin lor the week-end. Mr Jasu Dunn of Eords Motors, Ltd., Dunedin, is visiting Queenstown. Mr 11. Tornkies went to Invercargill on Friday for a couple of weeks’ change. Mi - and Mrs It. It. Binney of Invercargill spent the Labour Day weekend in Queenstown. Mr and Mrs S. B. Lane of Dunedin are the guests of Mr and Mrs B. W. J. Cockerill. Miss D. Turner returned to Lower Shot over last night after Being in Wellington for some weeks. Mi' Mark Hanan, of Dunedin, spent the week-end in Queenstown. He was the guest of Mrs and Miss Hunter. Mir and Mrs P. 0. Mills, of 'lnvercargill, and their son came to Queenstown for the week-end. Mr and Mrs Eobt. McDowalL returned last night from a short visit to Bale kith a. Miss Molly Percy, teacher of the Kuriwao school, spent the Labour Day week-end with her mother in Queenstown. Miss Orrini Percy also came home for the holidays. Mis Max Priedlauder of Auckland and her brother, Mr Frank Halstead of Dunedin, arrived in Queenstown by car on Saturday. They went over in the evening to Walter Peak, where they are the guests of Major and Mrs P. Mackenzie.
Air Tom Lynch, who spent two fairly long periods of residence in Queenstown, leaving here finally some months ago, has taken his departure to his native land, Ireland. He sailed last Tuesday by the Oorinthic. In a note addressed to the editor of the Mail, Air Lynch wished to be remembered to all his old friends in Queenstown. Air Lynch, who served 23 years in the Dnperial Army, seeing service in Africa, India and France) for which he holds- several medals), considers that nothing can beat New Zealanders. He hopes to return -some day to this land of his adoption.
