I Mr and Mns Gilbert Patton, of John- ‘ isonville, Wellington, spent the holi- ! days with Mr Patton’s mother, Mrs J. F. Dennison, Crown Terrace. Mr and .Mns J. M. Bute!, Mr and Mns W. G. Anderson, and Mr John Bute! spent the holidays at Lake Hawea. Mns J. F. Dennison, Crown Terrace, left on Sunday last on a visit to friends in Invercargill. Mr and Mns Thomas Patton, who had been guests of Mr and Mrs Jas. Shaw during the holidays, returned to Invercargill on Sunday. Former residents who visited Arrowtown during the holidays included Mns E. Balch, senr., and Miss M. Batch (Winton), Mr and Mns Frank Shirley (Dunedin), Messrs W. Peterison (Gowan Bridge, Nelson), James O’Neill (Gore), Frank Frew (Winton), 11. E. Hyde (Ettrick), James A. L. Cowan (Puketi).
