Former residents who visited Arrowtown during the holidays included Mns E. Balch, senr., and Miss M. Batch (Winton), Mr and Mns Frank Shirley (Dunedin), Messrs W. Peterison (Gowan Bridge, Nelson), James O’Neill (Gore), Frank Frew (Winton), 11. E. Hyde (Ettrick), James A. L. Cowan (Puketi).
