A , Shade Temperature; Highest maximum, 60.3 on 24th (Aug., 58.8); lowest maximum, 39.9 on 7th (Aug., 41.0), mean, 51.0 (Aug., 48.2); highest minimum, 43.1 on 2nd (Aug., 43.0); lowest minimum, 28.7 on 10th (Aug., 25.1); mean, 36.4 (Aug., 32.4). Mean temperature for month: 4 (Aug., 40.3). Mean relative humidity; 70.9 (Aug., 75.5). . . . Grass temperature: Highest minimum, 40.0 on 2nd and 26th (Aug., (Aim., 38.4); lowest minimum, 25.00n 30th (Aug., 19.9); mean, 32.0 (Aug.,/ 27.8). Total sunshine: 115.9 hours (Aug., 126.1). The most sunshine on one day was 9.5 hours on 17th (Aug., 7.7). There were three days without sun. Total for the year to date, 1358.8 hours.
