(From Our Own Correspondent). Dunedin, this day. RlOl DISASTER.

There were fifty four persons on board the airship RlOl. The deaths total forty-seven, including- Lord Thomson and Sir Sefton Brancher. Nearly everyone on board was asleep when the crash occurred and death came suddenly. Many of the bodies are unrecognisable. The cause of the disaster' has not been definitely established. An enquiry will be opened immediately. The weather at the time of the disaster was bad. The seven survivors are progressing favourably. FATAL BUS COLLISION. Two big buses crowded with holiday makers collided at Rockdaie, Sydney. Two men and women were killed and forty injured. AUCKLAND RACES. At the Auckland races Lucky Rose won the Epsom Handicap, Supremacy being second. King Edward Memorial Handicap.— Standfast 1, Count Palatine 2.
