Lake County Hospital.

The following reports regarding Lakei County Hospital were laid on the. table at the (monthly meeting of-the Southland Hospital Board held in Invercargill on Thursday: — —Statistical. — Patients remaining Ist September, 192(5, 5 males, 5 females; admitted during" September, (5 males, 8 females.; discharged during ,September, 5 males, 5 females; remaining Ist October, (I males, 3 females. —deport of Medical Superintendent.— The new tank has been installed and the second one repaired, but the plumber says- it is in poor condition and cannot bo expected to last long. The various other plumbing jobs have been attended to. The outflow from the- septic tank emits a strong and unpleasant odour and the public are complaining about it, as a road passes nearby.
