Eat^SJheep.—26o(s penned, a large pro portion of the yarding being ewes and wethers of prime quality with a f-w pens of extra heavy weight wethers. Values were easier to the extent'of about ll.s per head on last week's rates. (Quotations: Best wethers 40s to 4lis; extra prime u> 82s bd; medium to good 34s to 375; best ewes fin to ■bis (id; medium to good 32s to 375; jthers 27s up. Pigs— Another small yarding came to hand and were sold al prices fully equal to last week's high rates. A fair yarding of stores were offered, good slips sold up to as high as 50s and good suckers to 295. Oats. —The market has improved ton-iie ably. There is a strong demand for seed and milling lines. Prime milling 4s to 4s 2d; good to best feed 3s lid to 3s lid per bushel, (sacks extra). Wheat.—There is no milling quality offering. Only small parcels of fowl wiieal are available and those can lie quoted at. from lis to (is 3d |ier bushel, (sacks extra) for best quality. Potatoes.— I The market i-T very dull and sales can only be effected in small lots. Only choice freshly picked lines aie in demand. Choice table lo £4; medium to good £3 to £3 10s per ton. (sacks in). Chaff.-- There is a strong enquiry for good heavy oaten sheaf and any consignments coming to hand can be readily sold on arrival at quotations. Be.-t oaten sheaf £5 to £(i IDs; medium to good £5 to £6 per ton (sacks extra).
