Mr F. Dunlop controlled the game. Queenstown plays Pirates to-mor-row at Frank ton. This match will complete the Cup fixtures. Queenstown Club has been warmly congratulated on all hands for its double win this season in securing tioth the flag and the Cup. The Club was most fortunate in having at its disposal such a good lot of players. And they made great improvement as each match was played. There was fortunately a good choice of backs and it was largely due to their efforts that Queenstown Club owes its success. With better combination the Queenstown back division would be hard to beat on the goldfields. The forwards although lighter than their opponents, were very alert and many times spoiled their returns. The Club feels deeply grateful to its coach, Mr G. B. Burns, who schooled the team throughout the season. The members profited much bf/ (his advice and no doubt scored points off their opponents through the instruction given.
