Apart from the relaxation of work, and the enjoyment of city entertainments, a visit to Dunedinat Winter Show time has a value in that country people are afforded an excellent opportunity of enlarging their knowledge of and making themselves better acquainted with many features of the goods and articles required on their farms and in their home?. In this respect alone the Dunedin winter show is a useful function. It keeps the manufacturer in touch with the public, the buyer with the seller, and mce versa. The desires and ideas of people are varied, but there are some things which interest universally, and one of them is a range. The character of the range affects the health, the comfort, and the purse of the household. This being so, the opportunity which will be afforded to visitors to the show by Messrs Brinsley and Co., ironfounders, etc., Dunedin, of making themselves acquainted with the well-known "Champion" range and of having explained to them those "points" which have contributed to its success, is one which should not be missed. Messrs Brinsley and Co., Ltd., intend having a specially fine display at the show this year, and a few minutes spent in examining it will unmistakeably indicate the high character of the radge this firm is turning out. Messrs Brinsley are also making a display of cottage grates and tomb railings. In the manufacturing of fancy ironwork Messrs Brinsley are second to none'in Dunedin. Many of the designs originated from their own draughtsman, and besides being handsome and artistic they are select ana exclusive, testifying unmistakeably to the spirit of progress animating this progressive manufacturing concern.
