The top price secured for mares was £42 10s, account Mr W. Waddell, Waikaka Valley, and for geldings £35, account Mr R. Calder, Kelso. We sold as follows: Young mares, .£42 10s down to <£33 10s; aged mares, £25 10s down to £ls; young geldings, £35 to £2B; aged geldings, £26 to £8 10s; spring carters £lB 103 to £l2; backs, £lO to £l. We also sold a quantity of harness and contractors' sundries at good prices.
