—Letters and Letter CardsJ — Letters within New Zealand, Id for the first 4oz# or fraction thereof, and Jd fo each succeeding 2oz or fraction thereof. I For United States of America, Id for each oz, or fraction thereof (to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Islands, Porto Rico and Alaska.) For United Kingdom, British Possessions and other places enumerate i in schedule at Post Office Id for each oz or fraction thereof ; for places not named, for each oz, and Ud for each succeeding oz. —Newspapers.— Within the Dominion, sd for each nenrs paper to Australia. South Sea Islands Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bozs, and £d fer | each additional 2ozs. To other countries for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2oz £d. The weight of newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs, or each copy ; for each lOozs or fraction thereof additional £d. —Postal Notes.— One shilling, Is 6d, 2s, 2s 6d, id ; 3s and ss, Id ; 10s up to 20s, 2d. —MagazinesMagazines (not registered), all places Id each 2ozs. Magazines (registered), within the Dominion, Id for each 16ozs or fraction thereof; Australia (ex apt Queensland and Wa>t Australia), and other places, id each 2ozs. —Commercial Papers— Town (for accounts, etc. only) Jd if not exceeding Joz, or Id for first 4ozs and id for each succeeding 2ozs. Inland, Id for first 4ozs and for each succeeding goz». All other places 2Jd for first lOozs, and id for each succeeding 2ozs. —Reply Coupons.— As a means of enabling the seuder of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. There coupons may he exchanged for a postage stamp of the value lor in any couutry which adopts the .'.theme. —Po;t-Cards.— lulaud, single, id, reply Id ; all other places, single Id, 2d. —Parcel Post.— Maximum-weight, 111b; greatest length 3ft Gin, greatest length and girth combined, 6ft. Inland, 4d for first lb, and 2d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof. United King<iom, not exceeding 31b, Is; not exceeding 71b 2s ; not exceeding 111b, os, Australian States, 8d for first lb, and 6d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof up to 111b. —Registration. Universal fee of 21 to all places. Th# sender of a reg'stered article may obtain acknowledgment of its due receipt on payment in advance of 2£d. —Patt'.rns and Samples.— Inland, not exceeding 2oz, id ever sozs s 'in -as for other places. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from 6d up to 20s may be procured at the principal Money Order Offices in New Zealand. —Books and Printed Papers— All {.daces, 1 -2d for each 2uz.
