—Letters and Letter Cardsf— Letters within New Zealand, Id for the first 4ozs or fraction thereof, and id fo each succeeding 2oz or fraction thereof. For United States of America, Id for each oz. or fraction thereof (to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Inlands, Porto Rho and Alaska.) For United Kingdom, British PosseutitM and other places enumerate 1 in schedule at Pot Office Id for each oz or fraction thereof ; for places not named, 2&d for each r.z, and for each succeeding oz. —Newspapers.— Within the Dominion, id for eaih news pa; er to Australia. South Sea Islands Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bozs, and Jd for each additional 2ozs. To other countries for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2ez id. The weight of newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs, or each copy; for each lOozs or fraction thereof additional id. —Postal Notes.— One shilling, Is 6d, 2s, 2s 6d, id ; 3s and ss, Id; 10s up to 20s, 2d. —Magazines— Magazines (not registered), all places Id each 2oz<. Magazines (registered), within the Dominion, Id for each 16ozs or fraetien thereof ; Australia (ex ept Queensland and W»<t Australia), and other places, id each 2ozs. —Commercial PapersTown (for a 'counti, etc. only) id if not exceeding ioz, or Id for first 4ozs and id for each succeeding 2ozs. Inland, Id for first 4ozs and id for each cucceeding gozi. All other places 2Jd for first lOozs, and id for each succeeding 2oz*. —Reply Coupons.— As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the valee for 2|d in any country which adopts the scheme. -Post-Cards.— Inland, siugle, id, reply Id ; all other places, single Id, reply 2d. —Parcel Post.— Maximum-w eight, 111b; greatest length 3ft Gin, greatest length and girth combined, Oft. Inland, 4d for first lb, and 2d for each succeeding lb or friction thereof. United Kingdom, not exceeding 31b, Is; not exceeding 7>b2s; not exceeding 111b, Aut-tral an States, 8d for (upst lb, and 6d for each succeeding lb or traction thereof up to lllb. —Registration. Uni verbal fee of 21 to all places. Ths sender of a reg'stered article may obtain acknowledgment of iti due receipt on payment in advance of 2id. and Samples.— Inland, not exceeding 2oz, id ever sozi s tine as for other places.
