Late Commercial.

GORE HORSE BAZAAR. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale of horses at the above yard last Saturday. No doubt in view of our big spring sale next Saturday, and the bad state of the weather, the entries and attendance were not as large as usual; nevertheless we had a fair entry and a good demand for all useful sorts of horses used to farm work. A consignment from Mr William Dunsford of Dunedin found ready buyers, we having no difficulty in placing them, although we should have liked to have seen a younger lot forward. The consignment averaged £4O per head. We can guarantee full value for any useful draught mares or geldings, and any brought forward are sure to meet with a ready sale. We remind farmers, contractors, dealers and others that we hold our big spring sale of horses at the above yard next Saturday, 15th September, a big entry being already received, therefore a large attendance is anticipated.
