rROM OCR OWH CORRESPONDENT. Dunedin, this day. Lady Ranfurly, yesterday, was presented with an album containing the signatures of over 2000 seamen. The heavy gales recently have carried away many piles, etc., of the groins on the St Clair beach. 650 Dunedin employees and 214 employers have signed the petition in favour of the Saturday half holiday. The Rev W. Will was last night presented with several gifts at the East Taieri Presbyterian church before a large assemblage from all parts in honor of the jubilee of his ordination. PARLIAMENTARY. Speaking on the Counties Act Amendment Bill in the House last night, Mr Hemes said .that had it not been for Wm. Fraser and other Opposition members the Act would not have been workable. THE BALKANS. Outrage and terrorism continues in the Balkans. The bodies of 180 men and 200 women were found in the ruins of one village massacred by Turkish troops. Turkey has 350,000 men in Macedonia. Reports are current that the insurgents propose to murder British and Americans in order to compel the powers to intervene. THE AMERICA CUP. The Reliance won the third test race for the America cup.
