A FEARSOME MACHINE.

The most astounding invention of recent years is " Tesla's system of electric transmission through natural media." All other discoveries in the realms of science pale before this wonderful machine, details of which are just to hand. It would perhaps be easier to say what Nicola Tesla's invention cannot do than what it can do. One of the things claimed for it is that it could demolish a fleet of battleships without coming within sight of it. The actions of a torpedo boat on the ""coast of France could be regulated from New York by invisible means. How are these marvellous feats accomplished ? They are done by electric discharges of many milion volts' power generated in Tesla's apparatus. These terribly powerful electric currents are projected into space and sweep across miles to finally strike against and wreck the object whose destruction is intended.
