In the show rine he took second prize at the Royal Agricultural Show, Melbourne, 1892, beating Red Wing and others. Rosa, dam of Design, won the U mile trot at Maniototo, 1894, in 4.22., and the 2 mile trot at Beaumont, 1894, in 5.53., defeating the well-known horse, Blacksmith. " COMPLETELY HEALED.' Mrs E. Berkshire writes:—"ln the year 1888, when residing at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, I caught cold, which led to inflammation of the bowels. I was attended by local doctors, and received some relief, but the following year it turned to fistula, from which I suffered for eight years ; and it was constantly discharging. I was put under chloroform by two doctors, with a view to an operation, but they found that the fistula was too far inside, and an operation would have been too dangerous. In 1889 a second abscess formed, and in 1894 a third. These were all discharging at the same time.
