DARBY AND JOAN.

A novel wedding took place at Christ Church, Bexley-heath, Kent, the other day, the bridegroom being 80 and the bride 65. Both are inmates of the Foresters' Asylum for the Aged at Bexley-heath, the man being a widower and the woman a widow. Another elderly widow acted as " bridesmaid,' and the bride was given away by a veteran Forester. Much curiosity was evinced in the wedding, and as the old couple tottered back from church they were subjected to much playful badinage from the crowd which followed them. ThU, it is stated, is the woman's fourth husband, her third marriage taking place while an inmate of the Foresters' Asylum.
