A Government Inspection parade of M Battery is called for Tuesday evening, when Adjutant Major Atkinson will, for the first time, hold the same. Those of our readers who are interested are reminded that the Relief Court, in connection with the County electoral rolls, is fixed for the 14th proximo. Captain Pattrick and his lieutenant Salvationists fired their first salute in the Town Hall on Saturday evening, and they continued meetings every day or evening up to Wednebday evening. The attendance was good on each occasion, and Captain Pattrick is well satisfied so tar with the result of the opening campaign. We believe he appears at Skippers Point and the Reefs to-night aud tomorrow. We hear that the success generally of the recent entertainments held at Skippers Poiut and Reefs in aid of the building fund of St. Peter's Church, exceeded expectations. The amonnt takeu altogether was over £2O, and the net result is £l7. The ladies and gentlemen who took part in it wish to thank !jhe residents for their kindness on those occasions—more especially to Mr and MrsT. F. Richards (who did everything in their power towards the comfort of their visitors); also, Messrs J. Aspinall, B. Rogers, W. W. Brown, Gallagher, and others at the Point. At the Reefs, Messrs Fred, James and Harry Evans, Mr Granville, in fact, everybody kindly assisted or were anxious to assist in making things run smoothly.
