AK E COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Lake County Council to make, and levy, a GENERAL RATE of Three Farthings in the £ upon the Rateable Values of the Rateable Property within Lake County, as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force. That such Rate shall be made for the period commencing l*t April, ISS7, ending on 31st March, ISSS, and shall be payable at the County Offices, Queeustown, in ore sum, on the ISth July; and that the particulars of the Rate have been transcribed into a Rate Book in the form and manner required by "The Rating Act, 1582," and that such Rate Book is kept at the County Offices, situated at Queenstown, and is open for inspection to all Ratepayers on any week day, except the customary holidays, between the hours of 2 and 3 o'olook p.m. J NO. Any person feeling aggrieved by an entry on, or omission from the Voters' Rolls of the various ridings of Lake County, must lodge his application for relief at the Court-house, Queenstown, on or before the 31s day of May, 1837.
