TOURISTS FAMILIES AND COMMERCIAL GENTLEMEN. NOW OPEN FOR THE RECEPTION OF GUESTS. In introducing to public notice this beautiful structure, which is admitted by all visitors who have inspected it to be the premier hotel of the Australasian Colonies, the Proprietors beg to draw the attention of visitors and residents to some of the advantages it will offer. Being of fireproof construction, with simple and effective means of escape from every floor by the exterior balconies and circulari rcn staircase all the upper doors are made practically as safe as the ground one. Each floor is supplied with a separate fire service, made tc our order by Messrs Shand and Mason, of Loudon. No modern public building can rank as first-class unless great attention be paid to these particulars. This hotel is insured for tiO per cent, lower premium than any other hotel in the Colony. It has a central and open position, facing Custom House sijuare ; charming views are obtainable of t!ie harbour, Peninsula, and ocean from the upper floors ; it is situated in the centre of the tramway Bvstems, and at a convenient distance from the railway station. It is commodious enough to afford all those comforts and conveniences that are to be found in the largest modern hotel establishments, such as efficient office administration, which will be arranged on the American plan ; a beautiful vestibule, passenger elevator, sample rooms, large private reading and smoking room, a guests' drawing room for ladies and gentleman, avoiding the necessity of private parlours; suites of rooms with private baths; private baths and toilet accommodation solely for ladies ; a ladie3 private entrance and reception room ; a hairdressing establishment, laundry, &e. The sanitary appliances, which are of the most perfect description, were imported specially for the building, and tu avoid faulty fitting and to render the introduction of sewer gas impossible, the plumbing has not been done by contract, but with the greatest carc by Messrs Anderson and Morrison, who were under instructions to execute all this work on the plans recommended by the Loudon Sanitary Commissioners. The basement drainage is perfect, and the whole section is ..•oncreted and cemented ; whilst there is also an abundance of light and ventilation in every part. Thus the whole building cannot be otherwise than healthy and agreeable. It is newlv and elegantly furnished throughout. Special attention will be paid to the bedding; woven wile spring mattresses only will be used. Notwithstanding all these advantages, the tariff will be 110 higher than that of other first-class hotels. This hotel is confidently presented to the public as the leading one of the Colony. .1. & J. 92 St. John's Wool-terrace, London, N.W., lltli March, ISS2. I am thankful to Providence for the wonderful cure your Blood Mix ture lias effected on me. 1 was surprised, after taking half the first bottle, how well I felt; and after I had taken one large bottle the wounds on my legs healed. I only wish I had tried the Mixture before. I should have saved five years of continued suffering. I used to feel all changes of the atmosphere in my bones, but that is entirely gone ; in fact, I feel like a new man. I began to think that I should never get well, for I had attended St. Mary's Hospital and Welbeckstrect Dispenary, under Dr. Norman, Dr. Adam Clark, Dr. Allchin, Head Physician to Westminster Hospital and several eminent doctors. My suffering was simply horrible, and I Lave many times wished myself dead. After taking the Mixture for ten days people that knew me were astonished at my appearance. 1 have taken just two lis. bottles of your Blood Mixture, and they have effected this wonderful cure. All I can say to those who suffer is "Try it."it will recommend itself.—l am, yours respectfully, William Harms.
