PRIZE-GIVINGS.
BItOOKSIDB. 0a Thursday the annual picnic and presentation of prizes took place in the school grounds. There was a very large gathering lof parents and friends. The greater part of tho afternoon was devoted to children s sports. Following afternoon tea the presentation of prizes took place, Mr John Cunningham. (county chairman) presiding. Mrs William Brooks presented the sewing prizes, and Mr William Brooks, on behalf of the School Committee, thanked those who had contributed to tho afternoon’s enjoyment and all who had so generously contributed to tho prize fund. Cheersi were given for the master, the committee and Mr Cunnin. mm. Tho following is the prize list:
