The Vienna correspondent of the " Daily Express" states that Austria's economic situation has become hopeless. Funds are exhausted and the Government is unable to purchase food abroad. The country cannot carry on more than two months. The Chancellor, Dr Mayer, has called a meeting of foreign representatives for to-morrow, also members of the Reparation Commission, to explain matters and appeal to them to make a last effort to save the country. Ho says that if. the Powers can-r not help, the Government must resign and request the Reparation Commission to administer tile country. . ,
