The question is one which I hope will engage tho attention of the incoming Congress and new Administration. I am not prepared at thus time to go any further into tho details of this very important subject.” Mr Sheldon, commenting on the Lodge interview, said, “ I learn this with pleasure. It will no doubt give satisfaction throughout the British Empire, and the more Of these understandings with tho United States on this and other matters, the butter pleased will members of the Empire be.”
