In the Cup matches of tho North C*nt«--bury Association on Saturday, playing at Swannauoa, Woodond defeated the local team by 189 runs. Scores:—Woodond 241 for eight wickets (Taimii 63 letirod, it. Little 58 retired, R. Smith 43, Gillman 18 not out, K. Llttlo 16 not out, H. Moody IS and Borlaud 10); Swannanoa 52 (Begg 17, Verrail 11;. Bennett and Patterson for Eyreton and Parsons, Prebblo and Lawroncn ior Amborlcy were the most successful bowlers. • - Rangiora Seniors played Loburn, at Rangiora, tho result being a win for Rangiora, by 138 runs. Loiihfield Juniors defeated Oust by four rune. Scores: —Loithfield 50 (Seedcck 14, I'. Judson 12, Lisle 10) and 80 (J. Rhodes 10, Lisle 10); Cutt 86 (Waylandt 7) and 49 (Howntt 20). Judaon and Bobbs for Leithfleld and Robb and Nankeville for Cust were the most suoeessful bowlers.

The Rangiora, Juniors pluyed Sefton nt the Sefton Domain, and won by 19 runo. Scored. —Rangiora C2 (D. Mortland 28) and 65 for three wickets (J. Mortland 28, E, Trollops 15); Softon 75 (Ritchie 28, Scott 16) and 23 (Scott 12). Bowtfng for Rangi. or&, Sutherland took eleven wickets for 20 runs, Sohluler five for 13, D. Mortland throe for 35 and Blaiu one for 16. For Sefton, Smith took eix for 81 and M'Nally one for 8.

Amberley Juniors defeated Woodend by 27 runs Scores:—Amberley 70 (Chamberlain 21, Rhodes 10, Freo 15); Woodend 45 (Rob erts 15 not out).
