ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

FATAL ACCIDENT [Pen Prv.rb Association.] AUCKLAND, November 27. A lad named Vincent M'Quire was driving a butter delivery van when the horses bolted. The van capsized, and M'Guire was so severely injured that lie died in the hospital seven hours later. A companion on the van jumped before it capsized, and escaped with minor injuries.

THROWN FROM A HORSE. DARGAVILLE, November 27. A fatality occurred at Kirikopuni last night. Miss Murdoch, while out riding, was thrown from her horse and dragged some distance. She died an hour later. Deceased was a recent arrival.

BODY FOUND. TAUMARUNUI, November 27. The body of Fred Edwin Bedford, an elderly man, who was missing from Taumarunui since November 10, was found on Saturday in the Wanganui river near tho junction of the Hikimu stream. The body was discovered by hands and tourist passengers on tho upper river boat coming to Taumarunui and was brought here to-night for an inquest.
