Entries ore being accepted for the New Zealand Championship Loll Show, to bo held in the Art Gailory, December 13 to 18. Particulars are advertised. Members of the M.D., 1.0.0. F., .uoyal City of Christchurch Lodge, No. 4602, are suoimonod to attend on Monday, November 29, for the election of medical officers for tho ensuing year, and other important business. An illustrated lecture, “ A Visit to British Battlefields and the Peace Conference,” will bo delivered by tho Hon W. H. Triggs, M.L.C., in the W.E.A. Hall, at eight tonight. Addresses will be given by Mir L. Glover, president of tho Waterside Workers’ Federation, and Mr James Roberts, secretary of the Alliance of Labour, at a publio meeting at the liiberty Theatre to-morrow nisht. A public lecture will be giver by Professor Shelley, under the auspices o the Social Hygiene Society, on Thursday next, at 8 p.m., in the Chambor of Commerce. Professor Shelley will give an address on " Religion a.ud Education ” at St Miclm-m a Church, Oxford Terrace, at throe o'clock tomorrow. Entries for tho Sumner flower show, on Deoomber 1, will close on Monday. Particulars are advertised. A jumble sale will be held in the Hibernian Hall at 2.30 o’clock this afternoon. The annun.l meeting of the Hospital Lady Visitors’ Association will bo held in the Hospital waiting-room on Monday, at 3 p.m.
