TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I hereby challenge “Facts as I See Thera ” to come and milk our twenty cows in two and a half hours, and weed five acres of jnangels working eight hours per day; the wager to be for £100; the length of time four weeks. The cows to be milked clean,' to be bailed and turned into cow-yard in the two and a half hours. . The mangels to be thinned and weeded to the satisfaction of an independent umpire (preferably “Rueticus,” of the “Lyttelton Times ”). Now, will your correspondent como and show a poor fellow.why he cannot milk more than five cows per* hour?
