Mr Hope, in the House of Commons, replying to questions, said the Government holds 373,000 bales of New Zealand wool, of whioh some wrs reoentlv received. It was expeotod that some loss would be .ultimately sustained on a considerable portion of tho coarser grades. Importations of South American wool wore considerably smaller than in previous yeais. The importations for ton months in 1913 were fifty per cent larger than in 1929. BRADFORD MARKET. The Bradford wool market is' very quiet, buyers waiting in expectation of a lower basis.
