[Per Press Association.] WANGANUI, November 23. i The Wanganui branch of the Nett Zealand Dental Association deny th© . statement of the Hon J. Barr, that ail opposition to the dental scheme comes from Professor Pickerill, and state thus almost every member of the local branch is against it. as also are practically all Wellington, Hawke’s Bay and Christchurch members of the association, when th# individual members of tho association voted on it at the _ branch meetings. The proposal was rejected by - twelve to two at an executive meeting. Later Wellington voted for it. The local _ branch further complains that executive failed to discuss the counter scheme it sent down, and that the chairman ruled out several motions proposed by the Hawke’s Bay branch, and that representatives voted for Air Hunter’s scheme against the wishes of their branches.
