All the clubs are now showing their best form, and each week tho games increase in interest. On the oval at Lancaster Park, this afternoon, Old Boys will meet 'Varsity, and a fast oven game is expected. On the adjoining grounds, Merivale will play Christchurch, and Albion will play Linwood. Tho Senior match, Old Boys v. Ashburton, played on the Domain on Thursday in connection with the Ashburton County Rugby Union, resulted in a win for 01d_ Boys by twelve points to three. It was stated that these offences were far too prevalent and that drastic action was needed, also that the punishments awarded were too lenient.
