A statement of accounts for tho period October 1, 1919, to May 31, 1920, was .presented, and showed receipts to have been £13,469, inado up as follows.—Lawn Tennis Association £132 2s 6d, Canterbury Centre A.A.A. £137 7(1, C.T. aud W. Association £12,201 15a 2d, training fees £9 lis, training hall £6OO, St, Patricks sports £146 Is, Rugby Union £53 19s 3d and £lßl, hockey M. The expenditure., including a bank overdraft of £789 10s Id, was £11.052 13s Si. The principal items of expenditure were:—Mortgage redemption and interest £BIBO, painting £530, athletic association £IOO, bonus to eccretary £lO5. St i'atrick's Association 5103 2s M, Rugby Union £lsl Is Ed, miscellaneous expenses £Bl 5s 2d, repairs and renewals £I7R 6% 9d, section £l7O, Itngbv Union training hill £7oo, crodit balance of £lßl6 2s Sd, £IOOO was en deposit. The sub-committee Appointed to draw up a, schedule of duties for tho Grounds Cou:,mitteo reported, recommending that tho committee's duties should bo:~(a'i To *e;> that all playing [-rounds nr«> in sjood order, both for prado and interprovincial matches: (b) to see that the pavilions are, kept, in ?oc! o-iW; (c) to submit estimates to (he Board for all expenditure required on the ground and to supervise nnv work undertaken; (til the secretary, groundsman and all other emulovees of the board to take instruction? from «r>,-7 no under tho orders of tho Ground Committee. It was arenltiallr deified to delete* the clause and to amend the other elstiies to r*-ad that the committee should co-operate with the secretary in carrying out tli.- matters referred to.
