Very few oats are offering from the country, and transactions have practicallv been between merchants. Nominal quotations are A and B Gartons 4s lOd to 5" Id, undergrade 4s 8d to 4s 9d; "ood 1 :vy dark Duns 5s to 5s 2d, feed quality 4s 9d to 4a lid, Algerians 6o 3d, Danish 4s 9d. Tho wheat season is now to all intents and purposes at an end, .and so far as can be ascertained only a fow lots remain to be handled. A few transactions were reported during the week, but only in small lots, tho largest being 500 sacks of redchaff. Merchants show no inclination to buy oats, and only a email amount of business was done during the week. A Gartons sold at 5s and B Gartons at 5s lid, both net at country stations. Several samples of farmers' dressed cowgrass have come on tho market, but only one sale is reported. The parcel was taken at country station at 2s, less coinmission but Os net was. declined in one instance for a fiTst-class sample.
