CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.

The Chrysanthemum Show, arranged by the Canterbury Horticultural Society, was opened yestprdav afternoon in tbo Art Gallery. Durham Street. There waa a good exhibit of fin© quality blooms in all sections, and the fruit and vegetables made an admirable display. A nice show of early cinerarias was staged for exhibition only by Mn G. Murray-Aynsloy. A collection of out-door-grown mixed chrysanthemums of excellent quality was also on exhibition grown by Mrs J. C. Schneider, Cashmere Hills, and an equally fine exhibit was shown of the single variety by Mrs Holdsworth, Heatn cote.
