HEATHCOTE. The Heaihcote County Council met last wening; present-Messrs G. K. Burton "hSan), G. M. Hall. W. W. Scarff, A. H. Adams, C. Flavell and W. Kerr. The ohairmau was appointed * delegate to attend a conference to be held on Wednesday, js*yl», to discuss the rate of workn*aVsi T*was announced that the Hospital Board's lory for the year was £1220, and the Domain Board's levy £ll2. - It was decided that no further electrical connections should be made in the Cashmere Kg until the new high tension wires and transformers are in position. _ The Finance Committee reported that in the county fund there was a debit balance of £11T: in the Avonside lightm* fund a credit o) £110; in the Bromley fund « debit ol ,£IBB, ana in the Cashmere water and sewage loan account a debit of £l9l. of a reowsst *>y the Tramway Board for permission to erect a-sub-station on Hackthorne Road was deferred.
